Ahhh, there is something so satisfying about finishing a project; not just Casting Off, but really finishing, like blocking, sewing in the ends and adding all the final touches! This Anywhere Cowl was bright & cheerful, the perfect knit to bring in the summer.
If you're making the Prismatic Anywhere Cowl, I posted the modifications on last weeks blog. Here are some more tassels tips:
After Blocking, I marked out 24 spots using removable Stitch Markers on the side I wanted the tassels.
Note: Because I prefer the blue (Sapphire) color which I started with next to my face, I chose to place the tassels on the green (Basil) color which I ended with.
After marking out the tassel spacing, I threaded the tail of the tassel using a small sharp tapestry needle and whip stitched the tassel on in a few rounds, ending on the wrong side.
On the wrong side, I made a little knot.
Then, I fed the needle down the towards the tassel fringes.
And then I cut the tail the same length as the fringe to blend it in!
And there you have it, repeat those steps, 23 more times!
