This rustic Canadian Slouchy Toque is a great knitting project for any advanced beginner!  This hat is knit flat with one seam up the center back. Although intarsia method is recommended, I cheat a bit and use intarsia/stranded method {the white goes through the red maple leaf motifs}.

Mirasol Miski Alpaca (82 yards/75 meters Worsted weight).
 MC: #124 Red x 1 skein.
 CC: #100 White x 1 skein.
